You will first have to download the latest Itunes program. It allows quick access to both your device and transferring music from your PC. Go to this link to download Itunes: Itunes
Install it to your computer then run the program. Only plug your device after Itunes have been opened, so it can find your player automatically.
Now you may run you Music CDs into the computer or purchase them from the internet. On the Itunes window, click file > add file to library.
